Growing together.Primary Responsibilities:
- 20% Care of Patients: Provides direct patient care to facilitate the provider's practice. Which includes but is not limited to: assists with rooming and exiting of patients, gathers information, implements and evaluates plan of care and health maintenance guideline use, and provide health education information
- 20% Care of Patients: Performs technical and supportive patient care skills. Which includes but is not limited to: Waived testing, Respiratory Care, Medical emergency response, Demonstrates knowledge and skill needed to provide safe and effective immunization and medication administration, Prioritizes urgency of patient needs and is a patient advocate in meeting these needs, Immunization and medication administration, IV skills
(venipuncture), and Catheterization - 10% Infection Control: Provides an environment to prevent and control the spread of disease within the clinical setting. Which includes but is not limited to: Hand washing, aseptic and sterile technique. Also include care, cleaning and sterilization of instruments as assigned
- 15% Management of Information: Accurately documents and communicates to appropriate care providers. Which includes but is not limited to: Confidentiality, documentation, clerical duties, Release of information, provides triage and telephone message taking, and computer use. Follows test results reporting policies and procedures to include obtaining, interpreting and communication of results to the provider and patients
- 10% Environment of Care: Assists with maintenance of equipment, supplies and environment. Which includes but is not limited to: Orders supplies, Equipment maintenance and Follows all safety standards for patients, employees and visitors. Identifies and reports potential barriers for the safe provision of patient care and maintains a safe patient environment. Supports initiatives related to meeting OSHA and accreditation standards
- 10% Patient Rights and Responsibilities-practices positive guest and peer relationships, supports and respects patient rights which includes but is not limited to: Advanced Directives, Informed Consent, and Handles complaints
- 10% Human Resources - responsible for personal growth and career development which includes but is not limited to: maintaining Licensure and Certifications, Annual competency assessment, Team work and effective communication
- 5% Performance Improvement: participates in organizational improvement which includes: Performance Improvement Plan and PDCA

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
- Valid and current Texas RN licens
- Current BLS through American Heart Association
- 1+ years of RN work experience or experience as a KSC RN and the new grad's hiring department will provide direct supervision for 6 months, and participate in the new grad preceptoring program
- CRT experience
- Proven ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy
- Proven 5 shifts per month
- Proven 3 shifts per year the day before or after a clinic holiday, with 1+ shift related to a winter holiday
- Proven ability to travel within a selected region
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in nursing
- Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned. Windows bases computer skills
- ACLS
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
