Description

The Physical Therapist practices physical therapy according to current standards of practices in conjunction with the department's policies and procedures, including patient assessment, treatment, delegation, coordination, and evaluation of services provided. The staff Physical Therapist is directly responsible to the director and/or his designee, and has the responsibility for overall direction, supervision, instruction and evaluation of professional and supportive staff, volunteers and students in their area of the physical therapy department/facility. He/she is responsible for the patient's record documentation and acts as the patient advocate.
